Poland's demand for large scale energy storage is expected to explode soon as a consequence of radical expansion of renewables commissioned in the previous year. Curtailment of renewable generation was practically not seen in Poland until Spring of 2023 and now is becoming a frequent issue.

The publicised plans of Polish utility companies show that over 1 GWh of storage will be installed in the near future.
